“Guess the Opening Night” Sweepstakes

Official Terms & Conditions 

  1. Sponsor
    This sweepstakes is sponsored by Umzi Vine & Vibe Restaurant (“Sponsor”), located in Dallas, Texas.

 

 2. Eligibility
Open only to legal residents of the Dallas–Fort Worth metropolitan area within the State of Texas who are 21 years of age or older at the time of entry.

Entrants must provide a valid ZIP Code within the Dallas–Fort Worth metropolitan area. Sponsor reserves the right to verify geographic eligibility prior to awarding any prize. Entries containing false, misleading, or unverifiable location information may be disqualified.

Employees, contractors, affiliates, immediate family members, and household members of Sponsor are not eligible to enter.

3. Sweepstakes Period
The Sweepstakes begins on [START DATE] and ends on [END DATE] at 11:59 PM Central Time.

4. How to Enter
Participants must submit an official entry through the designated online entry form hosted by Sponsor.

Limit one (1) entry per person/email address unless otherwise stated. Sponsor reserves the right to reject duplicate, incomplete, inaccurate, automated, scripted, bulk-generated, or otherwise non-compliant entries.

To enter, participants must:

  • Submit their guess for the official opening night date of Umzi Vine & Vibe Restaurant.
  • Provide valid contact information.
  • Agree to these Terms & Conditions.

No purchase necessary to enter or win.

  1. Winner Selection
    Participants who correctly guess the official opening night date will qualify for a random drawing. Entry into the Sweepstakes requires subscription to the Umzi Vine & Vibe Restaurant email newsletter. Entrants who unsubscribe prior to winner selection may be deemed ineligible. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Sponsor reserves the right to verify the identity, age, residency, and eligibility of any entrant. Failure to provide requested verification may result in disqualification. Winner and all participating guests must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age and may be required to present valid government-issued identification prior to prize redemption. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute, postpone, modify, or cancel the prize if circumstances beyond Sponsor's reasonable control make fulfillment impractical or impossible. Sponsor's records regarding entry receipt, timestamp, and eligibility shall be final and controlling in the event of any dispute. Participation in the Sweepstakes requires consent to receive email communications related to the Sweepstakes and restaurant marketing. Entrants may unsubscribe at any time; however, entrants who unsubscribe prior to winner selection may become ineligible. Sponsor's decisions regarding eligibility, winner selection, prize awards, and interpretation of these Terms & Conditions shall be final and binding in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes.

One (1) winner will be selected at random from all eligible correct entries.

If no participant correctly guesses the official opening date, eligible entries shall be ranked according to the number of calendar days between the entrant's selected date and the actual opening date. All entries sharing the smallest difference shall constitute the qualifying pool from which a random winner will be selected.

  1. Prize
    The winner will receive:
  • One (1) wine pairing experience for up to ten (10) guests at Umzi Vine & Vibe Restaurant.
  • Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): USD $1,000.

Prize:

  • Is non-transferable.
  • Has no cash alternative unless determined by Sponsor.
  • Must be redeemed within the timeframe determined by Sponsor.
  • Is subject to reservation availability.

    7. Winner Notification
    The selected winner will be contacted using the contact details provided during entry.

    If the winner:

    • Cannot be contacted,
    • Fails to respond within seventy-two (72) hours,
    • Is found ineligible, or
    • Declines the prize,

    Sponsor may select an alternate winner.

        8. Publicity Release
        By entering, participants grant Sponsor permission to use their name, likeness, city, and submitted content for promotional and marketing purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.

          9. General Conditions
          Sponsor reserves the right to:

          • Disqualify fraudulent or automated entries.
          • Cancel, suspend, or modify the Sweepstakes if technical failures, fraud, or other factors impair proper operation.
          • Interpret and apply these rules at its sole discretion.

          10. Limitation of Liability
          By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor and its affiliates from any liability arising from participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance/use of the prize.

            11. Privacy
            Information collected through the Sweepstakes may be used for:

              • Sweepstakes administration,
              • Winner communication,
              • Restaurant marketing communications.

                Entrants may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time.

                12. Governing Law
                These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.

                  13. Social Media Disclaimer
                  This Sweepstakes is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, or any other social media platform.
